Pumpkin Patch Details

-Meet at Bailey's house at 3 pm
-When we arrive at Bailey's, everyone can drop off food, pumpkin carving supplies, or anything they don't need to have at the pumpkin patch
-Once everyone has arrived and dropped off items, we can carpool to Bizi
-Plan on arriving at BiZi by rough 3:30 pm. Admission is $9 (this pays for a pumpkin, and all of the fun events Bizi has to offer --> pumpkin launch, hay ride to the pumpkins, corn maze, 1 free hot drink)
-We will stay at BiZi until 5:30 (when it closes). Then we will all carpool back to Bailey's house.
-At our last meeting, Aimee and Bailey offered to carry people's pumpkins in their cars, since they can drive themselves.
-Once we are at Bailey's house again, we have our potluck dinner.
-After dinner, we go to Bailey's garage and carve pumpkins :)

Things We Will Be Discussing At Our Next Meeting:
-Who all is coming?
-What food is everyone bringing for our potluck dinner?
-Whose parents can carpool kids to and/or from Bizi?
-Has Kristi been contacted about coming with us? We'd love to have her with us! :)
-Do we need another adult with us? if so, who?
-Can Aimee and Bailey still carry the pumpkins back from BiZi for everyone?
-We do not have an ending time for this event. When should we plan on having parents pick us up from Bailey's? Maybe 8 or 9 ?

So make sure you all go through this and ask your parents about what you and your parents could possibly do so we are all prepared to say hwether or not we can bring food, carpool, etc... Thanks guys!

You can put your Permission Form  and $35 check (made payable to JTAG) in the mail on Monday - or bring it to the Journey Office by noon on Thursday.

TREK member's cell phones may not be on during structured retreat time or during lights out.  

Packing List 
o Bible, TREK binder & pencil
o Sleeping bag or bedding for twin bed, pillow
o Modest, comfy clothes (see dress code) 
o Toiletries/ personal items (towels, shampoo, toothbrush,etc.)
o Money for coffee shop (optional)
o A snack to share (for Saturday night)

DO NOT BRING
Electronic Games
Fireworks, weapons, drugs, alcohol

Arrive between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 12th
Our retreat is over at 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 13th

To register, bring a $35 check (payable to JTAG) and your completed TREK Permission Form to our TREK meeting on October 3rd; or mail to Bethany Larson, JTAG, 1400 NE 136th Ave. #201, Vancouver, WA 98604.  Must be postmarked by October 7th.

Fall Session Meetings



We will be meeting on the following days from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. We will meet in the basement kitchen area of Messiah Lutheran church.  There is an entrance at the bottom of the ramp that HYPE members can use. If you feel uncomfortable or unsure where this ramp and meeting area would be, Lisa Jooste said that she will show us where it is on the first night of class.
